Mini Studio
"I needed quiet for work calls. I got that, plus a Hongdae I now miss daily."
The studio was small but the location made it feel huge. By month two I was friends with the café aunty downstairs and the convenience store guy across the street. That's the part Airbnb can't sell you.
Residence
"My door closes when I'm tired. The lounge is loud when I'm not. Perfect."
I came alone and was honestly nervous. The Residence solved that — I had a room I could retreat to, but the lounge meant I had a built-in friend group by week one. Most of them are still in my life.
Shared House
"Five flatmates, four countries, one kitchen. I learned more Korean over dinner than in any class."
If you came to Korea to make friends, just live in the Shared House. We cooked together, watched K-dramas together, complained about homework together. Two years later we still have the group chat.
How booking works

Pick the one you want. A small deposit secures it. We handle the contract — in English, in plain language, no Korean legalese.
We meet you at the apartment on move-in day. Walk-through, keys, wifi password, support contact. You sleep in your own Hongdae room that night.
FAQ
You can move in any day of the week — we don't have set move-in days. Most students align move-in with their course start (typically a Sunday or Monday before classes begin), but if you arrive earlier or later, we accommodate.
Once your booking is confirmed, we lock in your move-in date and meet you at the apartment that day.
Pricing depends on three things: which option, how long, and which season. Mini Studio is the most premium, Shared House is the most accessible. Long-stay (semester / year) gets the best rate per month.
We don't post fixed prices because the right answer depends on your dates and length. Get a quote — it takes 24 hours and we'll send you the breakdown for all three options so you can compare.
For stays under 2 weeks, we usually recommend a hotel or short-stay apartment — and we can help you find one. For 6+ months, you'll qualify for our long-stay rates and priority placement.

Yes — there's a refundable deposit when you book. The amount depends on the option and length of stay. You get it back at move-out as long as the room is in the condition it was when you moved in (normal wear and tear is fine).
Unlike traditional Korean rentals, we don't ask for "key money" or massive lump-sum deposits. The amounts are reasonable and clearly stated upfront.
Most students do a mix of cooking and eating out — a Hongdae meal is rarely more than ₩10,000 anyway.
For short visits (a few days), guests are usually fine — just let us know. For longer stays where someone is essentially living with you, we'd ask you to upgrade to a Mini Studio (the only option with two-person occupancy availability) or talk to us about a couples' arrangement.
Residence and Shared House are single-occupancy — overnight guests are not permitted on a regular basis.
Most of our students are 18–35, but we host learners across a wide range. Mini Studio works for any age. Residence tends to skew 20–30. Shared House works best for 20–28 (the social vibe is younger).
For students under 18, we have specific accommodation arrangements with extra support — please contact us directly.
Tell us within the first week. We'll do everything we can to fix it — a different room, a different building, or a different option entirely. Our reputation depends on this working for you.
This rarely happens because we vet carefully and match thoughtfully, but it's not unheard of. Don't suffer in silence.
Generally no — most buildings don't allow pets. If pets are essential to your stay, please mention this when you inquire and we'll see if we have any pet-friendly buildings available for your dates.
No. Everything is set up for international students. The contract is in English. Our support team speaks English (and several other languages). The building staff is used to international residents.
You'll pick up Korean naturally as you live here — that's the whole point of immersion. But on day one? Zero Korean is required.
About 40% of our students extend. If you want to stay longer, just tell us a few weeks before your end date — we'll either extend your current room or move you somewhere similar.
Long-stay extensions often come with a better rate, too.
